Summary of Secreto de Amor

Maria Clara is a modern girl, hardworking and willing to confront the world on behalf of her small family. She is about to realize her dream of marrying her longtime boyfriend, Carlos Raúl Fonseca, a local mechanic. But only 20 days before the wedding, Carlos Raul loses his job and he asks Maria Clara to postpone the wedding so that he can go to Miami to find work. Carlos Raul travels to the USA in search of a better future. Maria Clara waits behind, heartbroken. When her mother dies suddenly of a heart attack, Maria Clara follows the advice of her aunt and decides to travel to Miami to find her boyfriend. The last thing she imagined was that he had found himself another woman: Barbara Serrano Zulbaran, a haughty but beautiful and wealthy woman, who had fallen immediately in love with Carlos Raul and promoted him to manage her chain of hotels. Carlos Raul somersaults from poverty into the high life in the blink of an eye. He is all set to marry Barbara, but then Maria Clara shows up.

From people of Kenya, Africa who watch this telenovela & like so much but the only thing was not pleasant is that Maria Clara would be very very best actress if she married Lizandro & not Carlos. Lizandro is the best actor in this telenovela, we congratulte you sooo much & we hope to see you soon in the other telenovela in such way & even better. Barbara & Vilma congratulation too.

I love this telenovela very much. I would also like it very much if Maria Clara did end up falling in love with Lisandro, because he truly loves her, and Carlos Raul doesn't, for if he did he wouldn't marry Barbara. It's that simple. I do like the novela and give it 5 stars! And Scarlet Ortiz is the most beautiful actress I've ever seen!

The telenovela is still ongoing in Malaysia (mdm. Prudencia has died and Maria Clara & Lisandro have to postponed their wedding). But from what I heard, at the end Maria Clara & Carlos Raul will be together.. YUCKSS!!! how could this be? she's supposed to be with Lisandro who loves her so much!!!

It's very painful to wait for each episode, that we resort to the net. Now that we know that Carlos Raul will be with Maria Clara... shud b with Lisandro...well... d scriptwriters must have had a reason 4 ending d story dat way...

El cuerpo del Deseo (The Body of Desire) also known as Second Chance is a Spanish-language telenovela produced by Telemundo and Film in Florida. This telenovela aired in several countries like Iran, Argentina, Malaysia, Poland, Philippines, Slovakia , Spain. This limited-run series is about a man who comes back from the dead and discovers dark secrets about his beautiful widow. It first aired in 2005 and was a hit on Telemundo. The first version of El cuerpo del Deseo was En Cuerpo Ajeno[1] produced by RTI Colombia in 1992. This telenovela was sold to 32 countries around the world.

The story features Pedro José Donoso (Andrés García), a wealthy old man in love with a gorgeous younger woman, Isabel Arroyo (Lorena Rojas). He dies suddenly, but returns to Earth through transmigration: (the passing of a soul into another body after death), in the body of Salvador Cerinza (Mario Cimarro), a handsome (yet poor) family man. Pedro José searches for everything he lost, uncovering secrets, truths and deceptions. Ultimately, he must set things straight and save those who truly loved him, and reclaim the heart of beautiful Isabel.

This melodrama about wealth, youth and power was filmed in Miami. It is a remake of Julio Jimenez's En Cuerpo Ajeno ("In a Foreign Body"), a 1992 RTI Colombia serial. In 2006, NBC commissioned Cuban author Erick Hernandez Mora to write a follow-up novel, El deseo ajeno (Possessed By Desire), which was published by Simon & Schuster.

Universal Studios released an abridged 720-minute version of the saga on DVD in 2006. Telemundo announced an encore of the complete run beginning May 29, 2007 on its daytime lineup, but decided not to air it.

El cuerpo del Deseo aired on Telemundo weekdays from 12pm to 2pm, starting on September 15, 2008.

In early 2006, NBC announced plans to develop Body of Desire, an English-language version of the series,[2] with Julio Jimenez as executive producer.[3] That same year, it inked a two-year deal with Los Angeles-based production company Galán Entertainment to adapt Deseo and other Spanish serials for use on NBC, Bravo and USA Network.[4] None of the productions have aired. In 2007, NBC announced another try at adapting the genre: Without Breasts There Is No Paradise.

Story

Biography

She was born in México D.F, México and began her artistic career in 1990 when she participated in the soap opera Alcanzar Una Estrella produced by Televisa. This telenovela was so successful that she went on to record a sequel Alcanzar Una Estrella II the following year. Between 1992 and 1997 she starred in several Televisa productions including Buscando El Paraiso, Bajo Un Mismo Rostro and El Alma No Tiene Color until she signed to TV Azteca in 1998. She is sister of Mayra Rojas.

This same year she starred in the period drama Azul Tequila, sharing credits with Mauricio Ochmann with whom she would later star in 2001's Como En El Cine. 2001 also saw the release of Rojas's debut album as a singer Como Yo No Hay Ninguna, recording songs by legendary songwriter/producer Richard Daniel Roman. In 2003 Rojas signed to Telemundo, later taping in that same year the telenovelaLadrón De Corazones besides Manolo Cardona. In 2005, she starred in her most acclaimed telenovela El cuerpo del deseo, besides Andrés García, Mario Cimarro, Erick Elias, & Sonia Noemí, among others, which proved to be an international success, broadcast by Telemundo NBC. In 2006 she released her second album Deseo.

Mario Cimarro (born Mario Antonio Cimarro Paz on June 1, 1971 in Havana, Cuba) is a Cuban [1] actor.


Mario Cimarro arrived in Mexico City having traveled from Havana Cuba, to fulfill his life long dream to become an actor. He studied intensively with preeminent teachers, including Adriana Barraza and Sergio Jimenez. Upon graduation with a degree in drama, he began to pursue roles that would allow him to grow as an artist. His credits include "Romeo and Juliet" for 20th Century Fox directed by Bazz Luhrmann and "Managua" for AstraCinema starring Louis Gosset Jr. Soon he began to get offers of work in other countries and traveled to Argentina, Venezuela, Colombia where he worked in each country with top writers, producers and directors. Mario had the opportunity to star in two great Latin-American cultural iconic series; "Pasion de Gavilanes" and "El Cuerpo del Deseo", accomplishing his desire to work with writer Julio Jimenes and director Rodrigo Triana.

Relentless about learning, he moved to Los Angeles in 2007, to polish his craft in American cinema starring in "Rockaway" for First Look Studios directed by the Crook Brothers, for which he received critical acclaim for his portrayal of Juju. He also starred soon after as SN in "Puras Joyitas" directed by Cesar Oropeza, which has quickly rose to become a number one box office hit in Venezuela.
